Duties and responsibilities:
Job Responsibilities:
- To clean and inspect the vehicle daily and ensure it’s in good running condition before any trip.
- Responsible for driving CRS staff and visitors safely every day, making sure passengers always wear seat belts.
- Strictly always adhere to traffic regulations and report all accidents to the immediate supervisor.
- Ensure the vehicle has enough fuel (at least one quarter of the tank) before driving and have a vehicle request before starting the trip.
- Contact the office regularly via Motorola radio to report location, destination, and other relevant information.
- Assist with bill payments and ensure that receipts, invoices, tickets, etc. are obtained when necessary.
- Help with loading and unloading goods from the vehicles.
- Ensure that passengers complete the required information in the logbook regarding their trip, fund, and project codes, and sign.
- If the reliever does not show up for duty, continue until further arrangements are made by the Head driver.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:

Education and Experience
- Good spoken English and Arabic.
- Possess a valid general Sudanese driving license.
- Driving experience preferably with NGOs not less than four years.
- Have good knowledge of basic mechanics and familiar with vehicle spare parts.
