Background:
a non-profit humanitarian and professional organization that brings together Sudanese physicians and health professionals, particularly those based in the United States. The organization aims to support and strengthen the healthcare sector in Sudan by connecting medical professionals in the diaspora with health initiatives that benefit communities in need.
SAPA works to improve access to healthcare services through medical programs, capacity building, and professional collaboration. It also contributes to humanitarian efforts by supporting healthcare facilities, providing medical services to vulnerable populations, and assisting communities affected by crises. Through these initiatives, SAPA plays an important role in promoting health, supporting medical professionals, and improving the well-being of communities in Sudan.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in public health, Medicine, Nursing, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) programming, preferably in humanitarian or development context.
- Familiarity with UN-funded programs, particularly United Nations population Fund (UNFPA) framework and compliance requirement.
- Good knowledge of national health policies and SRH framework.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English.
