Job Summary -The MEAL and Logistics Management Information Systems (LMIS) Senior Officer will support the design, implementation, and operationalization of integrated MEAL and Logistics Management Information Systems (LMIS) for CRS health and nutrition programs. The role ensures the availability of timely, accurate, and reliable logistics and program data to strengthen accountability, evidence‑based decision‑making, donor compliance, and learning. Through close coordination with MEAL, Supply Chain, and Health and Nutrition teams, the position will contribute to high‑quality, accountable, and adaptive program delivery across project locations.
Duties and responsibilities:
Roles and ResponsibilitiesIn
- coordination with the MEAL Manager, support the establishment and routine operation of LMIS systems for health and nutrition commodities, ensuring accurate tracking from receipt to distribution.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain teams to ensure LMIS data is aligned with physical stock records, delivery notes, and distribution reports.
- Assist in the integration of LMIS data into MEAL systems for triangulation with monitoring and postdistribution‑ monitoring (PDM) data.
- Support digitization of health and nutrition monitoring tools, distribution tracking tools, and LMISrelated reporting formats using ‑CRSapproved‑ ICT4D platforms. Maintain user access, licenses, and system configurations relevant to MEAL and LMIS tools, and also ensure allocation of devices and overall device management works.
- Support the development of dashboards and routine reports that combine MEAL and LMIS data for program teams and management.
- Support routine analysis of LMIS data to inform program performance, pipeline management, stock availability, and distribution timeliness.
- Contribute to donor and internal reports by providing verified logistics and inputdelivery‑ data for health and nutrition interventions.
- Provide handson support and ‑on‑thejob‑ coaching to Emergency Coordinator, MEAL, and supply chain staff on LMISrelated‑ tools and reporting requirements.
- Identify capacity gaps related to LMIS and data use and escalate technical support needs to MEAL or ICT4D leads.

Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:
JOB REQUIREMENT
Education and Experience
- MA/MSC degree or BA/BSC degree in Computer Science/Database management of study with 2 years of relevant experience for MA/MSC or 5 years of relevant experience for BA/BSC degree
- Knowledge of technical principles and concepts in LMIS and or ICT4D. General knowledge of related disciplines, such as Statistics and human sciences, to ensure a proper cross-sectoral approach.
Knowledge
- Experience with program monitoring, evaluation, and analysis.
- Certification in advanced database design, management and deployment (Microsoft Technology Associate) is an added advantage.
- At least 3 years of minimum experience working with relational database systems such as SQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, or Oracle, and a good working knowledge of SQL.
- Demonstrated experience in the development and administration of a database.
- Proficiency in using MS PowerBI and other visualization software is an added advantage.
