We are seeking motivated, experienced, and committed logistics professionals to support the coordination of critical logistics operations within MSF projects. The successful candidate will contribute to the management of facilities, fleet operations, infrastructure maintenance, and support services, ensuring that teams have the resources, equipment, and operational support required to deliver effective humanitarian assistance.

As a Logistics Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining the functionality, safety, and operational readiness of MSF facilities and assets. Working closely with logistics teams and project managers, you will be responsible for supporting the operational and technical management of logistics activities in designated health facilities, guesthouses, and the base in Khartoum. Tasks are adapted to the needs of MSF Spain’s ongoing interventions and potential interventions in Khartoum

  • Monitoring maintenance activities of infrastructures, management of non-medical stocks and equipment according to MSF standards
  • Ensuring the check and follow-up of facilities under the line manager’s supervision through daily visits to the facilities and reporting any anomalies or problems, evaluation of the rehabilitation needs and following up minor building rehabilitation work according to supervisor’s instructions; checking that premises observe security norms and monitoring the consumption of mechanical and electrical vehicles/machines/devices
  • Planning together with the line manager the required checks and maintenance activities of energy systems/set-up according to MSF standards
  • Coordinating and leading the logistics team under his/her responsibility which includes daily supervision, monitoring of the quality of work and the definition of each person’s task, drawing up their working schedules; organizing and leading team meetings; participating in the recruitment of team personnel and attending logistics meetings and accounting for his activities
  • Ensuring the vehicle fleet maintenance which includes planning and overseeing timely preventive and curative maintenance of all project vehicles according to MSF standards and Instructing and monitoring drivers on correct driving habits and standard checks.

MSF Section/Context Specific Accountabilities

  • Monitor infrastructure maintenance, non-medical stocks, and equipment in line with MSF standards.
  • Conduct regular visits to facilities (PHCC, GH, Base, WH) to assess rehabilitation needs, follow up on minor works, and ensure compliance with safety and security norms.
  • Support energy system maintenance planning (generators, solar, fuel storage) and monitor mechanical/electrical consumption.
  • Supervise and coordinate the logistics team, including daily task planning, quality checks, schedules, and participation in staff recruitment and evaluations.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and use of vehicles and generators; oversee drivers and promote safe driving practices.
  • PHCC Rehabilitation: Follow up on all PHCC rehabilitation works and contractor performance in coordination with the LTL and PHCC Log Base Hospital.
  • Support fire safety measures, hibernation readiness (supplies, space, lighting), and facility security improvements.
  • Ensure cold chain stability with power stabilizers and secure management of ICT equipment; follow up on connectivity solutions.
  • Align tasks with logistical needs arising from Khartoum-based interventions or emergency responses.
  • Supervise watchmen and drivers based in the guesthouse and base, ensuring clear schedules, proper conduct, and coordination with HR/admin teams when needed.
  • Ensure guesthouse logistics (water, power, cleanliness, safety) are well maintained and that drivers are available for planned movements and emergency needs.
  • Ensure the reporting to his supervisor of any problem, malfunctioning equipment or material, or improvements to be implemented in the tasks under his responsibility.
  • Doing the reporting of his activities or any other report requested by his supervisor.
  • Essential bachelor’s degree in engineering relevant Studies.
  • Essential technical training in any related field (mechanics, construction, ICT/Telecommunications).
  • Minimum 2 years working in logistics, facilities management, fleet management, infrastructure maintenance, or a similar role or related field; desirable INGO experience.
  • Previous experience supervising teams and coordinating daily operational activities.
  • Experience managing facilities, vehicles, generators, and other logistical assets.
  • Good understanding of preventive maintenance, infrastructure monitoring, and fleet management practices.
  • Desirable Electrical & Mechanical background.
  • Essential B2 Language with Native Arabic proficiency
