Overall responsibility for effective and efficient management of the Education projects across the Central Area Office consistent with the project management cycle (including reporting to the desired quality and standard);
Implementation of the ICLA project in accordance with agreements applicable to the grant from the donor(s) and NRC principles and ways of work
Implementation of the Global Standards and initiatives (NRC People Management Systems, Talent Management, L&D initiative, Duty of care, PSEA)
Gather and analyse food security and livelihoods-related data from target or proposed target populations
Develop, review and maintain work plans with time frames and deadlines for key activities; based on its changing and emerging needs; ensure standard operating procedures are developed for cash operations
Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to collect, consolidate and address (including through referral pathways) beneficiaries and non-beneficiaries’ grievances
Helps manage and provide technical support on programmes with cash components to ensure adequate support scale-up and delivery. Ensures risk analysis and risk mitigation are embedded into overall management of the support, in close consultation with UNICEF programme sections, Cooperating Partners, and government agencies.
Planning, specifying and requisitioning of drugs, medical supplies and medical equipment for all the UNOE clinics in the mission in line with the mission’s medical budget
Protect civilians under imminent threat of physical violence; and protect the Area from incursions by unauthorized elements and ensure security.
Receiving and processing requests for equipment and materials. Prepare pick list and issue vouchers, for approved requests.
Prepares requisitions for diverse services and commodities (e.g., information technology and communication equipment, vehicles
Assists in the preparation of logistics plans and cost estimates. Assists the mission with respect to property and inventory control
Monitor and maintain the LAN, Network Servers, Routers, Printers, LAN Points, and Switches, Patch panels, Access points, to prevent faults occurring.
Conduct a comprehensive stakeholder analysis/mapping to determine key players in the field of migration
