Support the development and implementation of the mission-wide PoC strategy and local protection plans in the area of responsibility

Provides technical inputs to the planning, design and implementation of projects, as well as technical advice and assistance to key parties (e.g. DDR unit management, DDR Commissions, government representatives, etc.);

Manage day to day HR & Admin, finance, logistics and security tasks of the field office

Efficiently oversee the operational functions of the CIU team including contract management of the relevant technical assistance

Supports the development of the UNICEF Sudan Peacebuilding and Social Cohesion programme portfolio including development of the SCO strategy

Adhere to NRC policies, tools, handbooks and guidelines as well Government rules and regulations

Provide guidance and oversight for the adequate use of HOPE for UNICEF and partners

Contribute to Education  strategy development, project proposals and provide input on needs and gaps

Ensuring the continuity of quality primary healthcare during the COVID-19 out-break, through mobile teams and/or fixed clinic services for Internally Displaced Person (IDPs), returnees, migrants and other vulnerable groups.

Secretariat for key Embassy Committees and Boards – manage meeting logistics; commission and organise papers; take minutes; and maintain an action log.
