JOB PURPOSE
To coordinate and perform monitoring activities within a specific coverage area and provide reports to support the effective delivery of assistance packages.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive)
- Coordinate and monitor the implementation of the Resilience projects/FFA/PSN and PHL food/cash assistance Programme at local level, in close collaboration with the cooperative partners, in East Darfur corridors.
- To help in monitor and review the overall FFA & resilience cash/commodity movements and distribution at the site and verify if the amount received have been properly recorded.
- To develop monthly tracking system from what requested in the FRN and the cash, what dispatches and what received by the CPs and what distributed.
- Supervise the efficient distribution at the site and ensure proper distribution of entitlements and verify appropriate entitlements are distributed by helping of doing distribution monitoring (DM/BM) and provide feedback to Programme Associate (Resilience) and other Programme team, head of PU Ed Daein sub office and to the CP.
- Represent WFP Ed Daein sub office in regular food coordination meetings with focus on FFA & resilience projects and other food related issues meetings as required and provide feedback to Programme Associate (Resilience).
- To discuss the dispatches and distribution plans with CPs and LU.
- Responsible in preparations and implementation of FRNs, monthly distribution, dispatches on monthly basis.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive) II
- Responsible in dissemination of information about Transfer Value (TV) on monthly basis to beneficiaries in consultation with Programme Associate (resilience).
- To help in the performance of cooperative partner (CP) through quality of reports, accuracy of invoices submitted; adhere to WFP gender policy and guidelines.
- To help on weekly Programme unit report on relevant events regarding FFA & other resilience activities, food/cash management, food/cash distribution and other food/cash related issues.
- Responsible to do preliminary check to CPs food/cash distribution reports coming from each distribution side and discussed the corrections needed with CP.
- Allocate tasks to other staff, providing guidance and on-the-job training to support their development and high performance.
- Create partnership, distribution report in collaboration with COMET active users.
- Perform other relate duties as required.
STANDARD MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Completion of secondary school education. A post-secondary certificate in the related functional area is desirable.
Language: Fluency in both oral and written communication in English Language and Arabic Language.

• Has experience utilizing WFP monitoring and evaluation systems and standards.
