The Cash and Voucher Programme Associate will be supervised by the head of programme – Red Sea in liaison and collaboration with other WFP units as appropriate and will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Actively led the preprations, planning, coordination and implementation of CBTs interventions with the cooperating partner -SRC and the financial servive provider (DSP) BNMB in both urban and ruarl settings.
  • Regualr targeted sites visit to the IDPs gathering points and rural localities to support and oversee the distribution of CBTs.
  • Provide daily update of cash distribution to the management and to ensure that beneficiaries do receive their entitelemnts as per WFP standards.
  • Perform and review monthly CBT reconciliation together with the WFP staff, including programme and logistics, CP, Finance unit and the financial service provider.
  • develop monthly CBTs distribution plans and shared with the CBT coordination team for further country wide CBT monthly distribution plan compilation.
  • Fully involve in every aspect of CBTs programme cycle, including prepration and planning, coordination and implementation.
  • Ensure the programme remains compliant with all WFP policies and procedures,
  • In cooperation with stakeholders, recommend ways to refine the programme and thereby improve the service offered to beneficiaries and facilitate implementation by WFP,
  • Liaise with WFP M&E unit in HQ in the development of operational M&E methodology and formats
  • Ensure field level monitoring of implementation including outputs and outcomes,
  • Complete all internal and external reporting obligations (including sit-reps, donor reports etc)
  • Identify lessons learnt and best practices established for use in further WFP cash & food programme interventions.
