Under the direct supervision and guidance of the Chief of Supply and Logistics, the incumbent will be responsible for managing the Construction Unit and all construction activities in the Country Office (School infrastructures, Health Centers, etc.)

Support the implementation and update of the project Communications Strategy and action plan
Meets EU officials and visitors at the airport and provides support with visa and customs formalities arrangements when required
Support the development and implementation of the mission-wide PoC strategy and local protection plans in the area of responsibility
Provides technical inputs to the planning, design and implementation of projects, as well as technical advice and assistance to key parties (e.g. DDR unit management, DDR Commissions, government representatives, etc.);
Manage day to day HR & Admin, finance, logistics and security tasks of the field office
Efficiently oversee the operational functions of the CIU team including contract management of the relevant technical assistance
Supports the development of the UNICEF Sudan Peacebuilding and Social Cohesion programme portfolio including development of the SCO strategy
Adhere to NRC policies, tools, handbooks and guidelines as well Government rules and regulations
Provide guidance and oversight for the adequate use of HOPE for UNICEF and partners
