PROGRAM
Catholic Relief Services (CRS) is a nongovernmental organization that promotes relief and development activities worldwide. Currently in West Darfur, Sudan, CRS implements both emergency relief/recovery and development activities in Shelter, Food Security, Health, Nutrition, Water and Sanitation. The Acting Administration Assistant is responsible for managing, and follow up of Administration duties in CRS Habila Âoffice, and Guest houses, she/he will maintain a good sense of initiative, and has a strong demonstration to work as a team work, in addition of performing basic financial tasks that will require accuracy, and good implementation of CRS Financial policies, the holder of this post will need to be honest, dynamic, work independently, and good team player,
Duties and responsibilities:
Job Summary:
The HR Assistant will be responsible to carry out an HR tasks that respond to the needs of program implementation and technical departments, while assisting and performing general Human Resources functions, including staff leaves, support in Performance management for lower graded staff and timecard tracking.
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in the recruitment process to ensure transparency of the process by participating in announcements, sorting stages.
- To take the lead in meeting female staff members in case of they need to report issues related to HR department to reveal their concerns clearly and follow up their cases.
- Maintain a good personal file records and follow up the missing documentations as per as the policy of CRS
- Filing of employee records as per legal and internal requirements.
- Develop and manage relevant HR tracker – including leave, recruitment, learning and staff location.
- Support with administrative tasks related to recruitments, including posting of vacancies and coordination with candidates
- Support with practical tasks related to staff onboarding and off boarding, including coordination with the Supply Chain unit
- He/she will be the Focal person on preparing the overtime calculation for the monthly payroll.
- He/she will be the focal person of health insurance company at CRS Sudan, looking after repayment, ID cards as well as raising the difficulties and concerns to the company in coordination with the line manager.
- Responsible for ensuring that employees always have valid ID cards.
- Execute all other tasks as assigned by the supervisor/line Manager.
Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from recognized University, additional training in administrative/ human resources field is an advantage
- Three years of progressively responsible clerical or administrative work preferably with international organizations.
- Ability to work closely and harmoniously with a team
- Good organizational and communication skills, highly disciplined and responsible
- Computer skills, including internet navigation, and various office applications.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural environment, and establish harmonious and effective working relationships, both within and outside the organization.
- English and Arabic proficiency written and spoken.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
The employee may be required to perform assignments after his/her working hours and on holidays beside field trips to field offices.
SPECIAL NOTE:

However, the JD is subject to revision to further the consistent with position’s level of responsibilities may be necessary to fulfill CRS’s objectives in the country.
