Duties And Responsibilities:
Under the overall supervision of the FAO Representative (FAOR) and the general and direct supervision of the Assistant FAO Representative (Administration), the candidate will provide, administrative, HR, and logistical support in FAO Representation and projects in particular the incumbent will:
- Prepare and follow up all logistics Note Verbal to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for STAY PERMITS/EXIT & RE-ENTRY VISA, MFA Diplomatic ID Card, MFA Form (1), letter of re-exports and other diplomatic entitlements for the internationally recruited staff for their personal effects.
- Follow up on the FAO country contribution with the Ministry of Agriculture and Ministry of Finance and liaise with the finance unit to ensure office account deposits.
- Follow up to ensure renewal of the FAO representative residence contract with ministry of agriculture including payment authorization letter, rental payment process to the Ministry of Finance.
- Provide all logistical support for all workshops, trainings including the booking of conference hails, authorization letter to HAC, booking accommodation for participants and transport arrangements.
- Provide logistics related information to program/other staff as when requested.
- Act as alternate to UNHAS local travels focal point, make bookings through local airlines or UNHAS through the system.
- Assist in management of fuel supply for office and held through WILSA.
Expected Outputs:
1\ Logistics and other organizational issues of events are in place timely;
2\ Timely submission and collection of Government approvals;
3\ Adequate support to events/ workshops/ trainings seminars;
4\ Visas and travel permits are available on time;
Minimum Qualifications Requirement:
Action will not be considered from candidates who do not possess all of the Essential Qualifications.
Education: University Degree in Communication Administration or related field.
Experience: 3 years relevant experience
Other: Working knowledge of English language.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;

- Knowledge of public relations principles;
