Context:


Under the direct supervision of the Finance Officer in Khartoum, the incumbent will be responsible for the implementation of accounting duties in connection with IOM activities in in Khartoum Office.


Core Functions / Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible of VAT invoices and to prepare VAT report using the Excel system and keeping all the folders related to the VAT.
  2. Looking after the filing system for all payment vouchers in the Khartoum office.
  3. Responsible of the finance office folders (filing, labelling, organizing. etc.).
  4. Responsible of the Finance archive room in following matters (arrangement & description, preservation, and access) and to maintain these documents, according to IOM established record retention policies.
  5. Scanning the Finance documents.
  6. Perform any other related task as may be assigned.

Required Qualifications and Experience


Education
 University degree in accounting or Business administration.


Experience

  1. The new graduate is Preferred.
  2. A hard worker and can work under pressure.
  3. Good analytical skills and excellent knowledge of computer applications – spreadsheets are a MUST.
  4. Good communication skills are desirable.
  5. Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a MUST.

Language
Fluency in English and Arabic is Required.
