The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is an independent humanitarian organisation helping people forced to flee. The Norwegian Refugee Council has an interesting and rewarding opportunity to be part of our newest country of operation – Sudan.
The NRC has recently re-registered to operate in Sudan, and is currently in country start-up phase, conducting assessments and designing the first steps of the programme. Focus will be given to people displaced by conflict, refugees, and vulnerable migrants, and potential geographical areas of work will be Khartoum state, South Kordofan and Blue Nile on a first phase, with the idea to expand to other States.
As a priority, NRC is therefore hiring a Logistics Officer to be part of establishing NRC’s programme in Sudan.

Contribute to NRC Advocacy publications and positioning by providing focused analysis and context updates based on advocacy priorities (protection of civilians, forced displacement)
Health Safety and Security Coordinator – NRC
Provides technical direction and guidance on HSS training, competency and behaviour to staff at all levels across the organisation and HSS staff.
Administration Officer – NRC
This position will report to the HR and Administration Manager, with close collaboration with the Country Management group and the Country Director
Casual Worker – Programme – NRC
Support the program team in the data collection for needs/market assessment as well as post distribution, monitoring activities.

The purpose of the national Partnership Coordinator position is to drive NRC Sudan’s strategy and approach towards strategic partnerships – downstream partnership or consortium arrangements – with a mix of local and international organisations to augment its technical competencies and contextualise its response approaches.
