At WFP we are looking for a talented Finance Officer to support our Finance Units in Khartoum and Nyala, Sudan, to be hired on a Fixed Term Appointment contract at NOB Level.
Planning, coordinating and implementing HR, Admin and Financial activities and policies in the project
according to legal obligations and MSF protocols
Actively participate in recruitment outreach efforts for all active recruitments as per the outreach plan
Participate in appropriate maintenance and safe and secure storage of all office equipment and property.
To design and manage programmes of moderate size or complexity that effectively meet food assistance needs, or contribute to policy formulation and /or provide technical advise or oversight on programme strategy and implemention
Ensure the CM team has tools, processes, and capacity in place to collect, store and share accurate and timely information and data on sites/areas where IDPs and returnees located, with aim to identify gaps and needs and support humanitarian programming.
Support the development and implementation of NRC Sudan Communications Strategy, based on the Country Advocacy Strategy
Support in assessing and analysing the needs of persons of concern in a participatory manner, using an Age, Gender and Diversity (AGD) perspective as basis for planning.
Checking daily, the technical conditions of the assigned vehicle (state of the tires, oil, fuel, brakes, radio equipment, spare parts, etc.), performing weekly check according to the MSF Logbook, refilling it when necessary, and keeping it clean to ensure it can be driven in perfect conditions. Carrying out a hand over if another uses the vehicle
Ensures provision of reliable and safe driving services by a) driving office vehicles for the transport of OCHA Head of Office, other high-ranking officials and visitors and delivery and collection of mail, documents and other items, and b) meeting official personnel and visitors at the airport including visa and customs formalities arrangement when required.
Executing the maintenance, follow-up, and monitoring of all IT and Telecom equipment, tools, and services, as well as ensuring onsite technical support and training of users under his/her responsibility in accordance with MSF standards, policies, protocols, and procedures, in order to guarantee the efficient use of all IT and Telecom services and infrastructure.
Perform secretarial administrative activities according to the instructions of the supervisor and MSF rules and protocols to ensure efficient administrative support to MSF office staff.
Is responsible of ensuring that MSF is a Responsible employer in the mission, supports proper management of HR across the board and assumes full responsibility of all Administrative and legal issues in the Mission.
