This is a non-supervisory position in the Garage Unit of the General Services Office, Incumbent Serves as a Maintenance Mechanic in General Services Office/Motor pool (GSO)

Supports and develops systems to minimize security risks to NRC’s operations.

Ensure adherence with NRC North Area Office Security Management Plan and SOPs

Ensure adherence to NRC policies, tool, handbooks, guidelines, and donor requirements, with strict adherence to the Code of Conduct and Child Safeguarding Policies

Assist with the implementation of the NRC Education South Kordofan portfolio

Line manage Support staff: Logistics, Finance, HR & Admin and ICT

Line management of ICLA Team leader and ICLA Project Assistants operating in the West Darfur region

Ensure adherence with NRC North Area Office Security Management Plan and SOPs

Review of payment requests for completeness prior to processing to ensure that documentation is complete and all information concerning the payment has been supplied

Provide assistance during Engagement Development and ensure the right tools and procedures are used, and risks are identified with appropriate mitigation measures.

Assist SUMAT team with all the administrative, logistic and procurement related activities.

Monitor and maintain the LAN, Network Servers, Routers, Printers, LAN Points, and Switches, Patch panels, Access points, to prevent faults occurring

Arrange appointments/meetings both internal and external, some involving high ranking officials.

Protect civilians under imminent threat of physical violence; and protect the Area from incursions by unauthorized elements and ensure security.

Manage and coordinate work plans and budgets for the field-Office activities including for the work plan programme, and monitor the implementation of planned activities.
