Save the Children is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Coordinator – Immunization to lead and coordinate the implementation of immunization projects, with a focus on improving routine immunization uptake among hard-to-reach children, zero-dose children, and underserved communities. This position will collaborate with state Ministries of Health, internal teams, and external stakeholders to ensure efficient program delivery and alignment with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead planning, coordination, and implementation of immunization activities, including routine services, campaigns, and cold chain management.
  • Collaborate with Ministry of Health and stakeholders for effective vaccine supply, community engagement, and VPD surveillance.
  • Ensure risk mitigation, internal controls, and quality reporting mechanisms are in place.
  • Provide technical support through field visits and supervision to improve vaccination service accessibility and quality.
  • Represent Save the Children in coordination meetings and stakeholder engagements.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field (Master’s in Public Health preferred).
  • At least 5 years of experience in immunization programs at the national or sub-national level in Sudan.
  • Proven expertise in project implementation, monitoring, and stakeholder collaboration.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Commitment to Save the Children’s values and principles.

Travel Requirement:
Willingness to travel up to 30% within target states.
