Job Purpose:

Prepare and ensure the completeness of technical documentation of the Analytics systems. Provide technical advice, training, and any needed support for Analytics staff. Design new data models, and assist in periodic and ad-hoc reports if needed


 

  1. Support Analytics BI to develop and deliver periodic reports for different business departments, and deliver them if needed.
  2. Prepare and ensure the implementation of Analytics processes, and ensure the alignment of them with Zain policies and best practices.
  3. Develop new data marts, cubes, summary tables, and data models that serve different business areas.
  4. Manage the integrity, operation, and administration of data cubes, summary tables, and lookup tables.
  5. Design and implement data quality check processes, and check it with the normal trend, and check it across other teams like RA, Quality, and DWH.
  6. Train the end-user on the available self-service tools through conduction sessions and ensure they are utilizing the tool in the right way effectively.
  7. Work closely with Big Data and the DWH team to ensure they implement the business rules in the existing data models, and they also capture all the data sources that are needed by the business.
  8. Set a clear process to ensure the delivery of the reports, and also ensure that it meets the agreed SLA.

What Do You Need to Qualify

Qualifications/Experience:

  • BSC in Computer/IT or Computer science.
  • Previous experience RDBM and SQL.
  • Experience in Big Data and data visualization, and data modelling.
  • Experience in data science, and statistic.
  • 5+years’s relevant working experience in telecom BI tools.

Knowledge:

  • High technical knowledge in all job areas.
  • Good Knowledge of RDMS and SQL.
  • Good Knowledge in Statistics and data science.
  • Good understanding of the telecom industry, especially BI in telecom.
  • Understanding the standard Data model schemas (Star Schema).
  • Familiar with different BI tools (OBIEE, Tableau, etc.)
  • A collaborative spirit and the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to both colleagues and clients
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze issues, identify causes, and recommend solutions quickly.
