Job Purpose:
Use data creatively to solve business challenges, often uncovering new and transformative opportunities along the way. Applying state-of-the-art advanced analytics, quantitative tools, and modeling techniques to interpret, make inferences, and offer recommendations based on insights from the data.
Key Tasks/Accountabilities:
- Work closely with the business team on advanced analytics to develop new insights and data visualization models that help in making business decisions.
- Set clear goals and questions, so you can apply different data mining algorithms like customer segmentation and churn prediction.
- Sit with the BI team to ensure all the data required by different data model are available on their side.
- Create different data mining and ML models, execute them in sample data, and then evaluate the model.
- Make a presentation and sessions to the promising data models to different end users and ensure you deliver the goals and the ideas in the proper way.
- Support the BI team with daily work and normal operation if needed.

What Do You Need to Qualify
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Qualifications/Experience:
- BSC in Computer/IT or Computer Science or Statistics.
- Previous experience in data exploration and data mining.
- Good knowledge and experience in machine learning concepts is desirable.
Knowledge:
- Familiarity with statistical and data-mining techniques
- Strong knowledge of programming languages, with a focus on machine learning and advanced analytics (such as R, Python, and Scala)
- Experience working with large data sets and relational databases(Knowledge in SQL)
- A collaborative spirit and the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to both colleagues and clients
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze issues, identify causes, and recommend solutions quickly.
