The Norwegian Refugee Council has an interesting and rewarding opportunity to be part of our newest country of operation – Sudan.
The NRC has recently re-registered to operate in Sudan, and is currently in country start-up phase, conducting assessments and designing the first steps of the programme. Focus will be given to people displaced by conflict, refugees, and vulnerable migrants, and potential geographical areas of work will be Khartoum state, South Kordofan and Blue Nile on a first phase, with the idea to expand to other States.
As a priority, NRC is therefore hiring a Logistics Officer to be part of establishing NRC’s programme in Sudan.

Logistics Assistant – NRC

The two main purposes of the Emergency Response Coordinator are to ensure that NRC Sudan is sufficiently prepared to programmatically and operationally respond to sudden-onset emergencies (working with the Country Management Group), and also to support Area Management Teams to coordinate and deliver appropriate rapid responses to emergencies when they arise.
ICLA Assistant – NRC
The purpose of the assistant position is to assist with day to day development and eventual implementation of the Information, Counselling and Legal Assistance (ICLA) Programme in North Darfur – El Fasher.
ICLA Officer – NRC
The ICLA Officer position will contribute towards the development of ICLA programme in country through technical support for ICLA assessments to be conducted in the different States as well as implementation of ICLA activities.
Livelihoods and Food Security Programme Development Manager – NRC
The purpose of the Livelihoods & Food Security (LFS) Programme Development Manager (PDM) position is to be responsible for technical development, strategic direction, implementation, and quality assurance as well as monitoring of NRC Sudan’s LFS activities and programme, as well as relevant staff mentoring and capacity development.
