Under the supervision and direction of the Gedaref Emergency Coordinator, in coordination with the Chief of Field Office Kassala, and Chief of Child Protection, the Child Protection Specialist supports the development and preparation of the Child Protection programme(s) and is responsible for the management, implementation, monitoring, reporting, and evaluation of the child protection programmes/projects within the country programme.
Under the supervision and guidance of the supervisor, the Administrative Associate is responsible for executing a broad variety of procedural and specialized administrative tasks for the respective section requiring in-depth knowledge of UNICEF administrative procedures, processes and policies.
The Technical Works Group Supervisor (TWGS) will take a leading role in ensuring that British Embassy owned and rented properties are compliant with FCDO standards.
You would be expected to provide high quality, reliable, timely and relevant policy and governance advice to the British Embassy Khartoum in the key technical competency areas listed below. You should be able to design, manage and lead clearly defined projects.
Assists in the unclassified mail and pouch operations of the Embassy Mailroom. Extends this authorized service in a timely and accurate manner to all agencies of the USG to include, but not limited to, STATE, DLO, and USAID staff. Provides Mission-wide reproduction services.
The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UN OCHA) is the part of the United Nations Secretariat responsible for bringing together humanitarian actors to ensure a coherent response to emergencies. OCHA also ensures there is a framework within which each actor can contribute to the overall response effort.
The Protection Associate normally reports to the Protection Officer or the Senior Protection Officer. The incumbent monitors protection standards, operational procedures and practices in protection delivery in line with international standards and provides functional protection support to information management and programme staff.

Under the guidance of the Chief of Field Office – Damazine, the programme coordinator will help support the coordination and implementation of UNICEF’s programme across the Blue Nile, White Nile and Sennar States. The programme coordinator will be based in Damazine, Sudan, and will report to the Chief of Field Office for Blue Nile, White Nile and Sennar States.
The specialist is responsible for the development, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the emergency interventions to ensure the survival and well-being of children and mothers, and the affected communities in an emergency situation.
Under the direct supervision of the Chief of field office in Damazine, and the guidance of the section chiefs of Child protection, Education, Health and Nutrition and C4D, with a dotted line to Field Operations and Emergency, the programme coordinator will support the implementation of the intervention priorities for each programme outputs in the RWP 2021-2022 and the KFW 5 pertaining to the SPLM-N controlled areas in Blue Nile.
